 VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE OVER THE FLOODBANK BY THE CATTLE GRID GATE.

ALSO FOLLOWING ANY HEAVY RAIN THE TRACK BEHIND THE FLOODBANK MAY NOT BE PASSABLE.

(THE FARMER WILL NOT TOW YOU OUT).

 NOTICE    

Following the latest announcement from the Prime Minister and in line with current Government advice, both Sandhill Lake and the stretch of the Chesterfield canal from West Retford Bridge To Whit Sunday Pie Lock will be open for fishing from Wednesday 11th May. Remember Social distancing rules still apply. Anyone not adhering to these rules will be asked to leave the fishery. The stretch of Chesterfield Canal running from Whit Sunday Pie lock through to St Peters Lane Clayworth remains closed as it is part of a SSSI.
